A HEAPING STEAMING PILE OF SHAT PDF Print E-mail

k
Thank you Kevin for that steaming pile of shit.  I got to thinking, how did we get this way, and I then needed to learn more about that coaching job...........

What is poop made of?

About 3/4 of your average turd is made of water. Of course, this value is highly variable - the water content of diarrhea is much higher, and the amount of water in poop that has been retained (voluntarily or otherwise) is lower. Water is absorbed out of fecal material as it passes through the intestine, so the longer a turd resides inside before emerging, the drier it will be.
Of the remaining portion of the turd, about 1/3 is composed of dead bacteria. These microcorpses come from the intestinal garden of microorganisms that assist us in the digestion of our food. Another 1/3 of the turd mass is made of stuff that we find indigestible, like cellulose, for instance. This indigestible material is called "fiber," and is useful in getting the turd to move along through the intestine, perhaps because it provides traction. The remaining portion of the turd is a mixture of fats such as cholesterol, inorganic salts like phosphates, live bacteria, dead cells and mucus from the lining of the intestine, and protein.

Why does poop stink?

Poop stinks as a result of the products of bacterial action. Bacteria produce smelly, sulfur- or nitrogen-rich organic compounds such as indole, skatole, and mercaptans, and the inorganic gas hydrogen sulfide. These are the same compounds that give farts their odor.

WHEW, NOW WE HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING HOW THIS HAS STUNK SO BAD.  THANKS FOR NOTHING DEFENSE.

TO is back!!!!!!!!!!!! PDF Print E-mail
Sorry folks, I have been on the road, so I have not been able to post the last 2 1/2 weeks or so.  I thought someone would take my place but nobody wanted to offer their opinions so I finally will.

Amazing what 4 weeks can do to a football program, a university, a fanbase.  We had all had it.  What we have put on the feild is nothing but a steaming pile of football that rivals only Temple and Duke.  Why the tailspin?  Why the mailaise?  I think it lies with passion, and a true disconnect from what we all have know for so long.

Since my birth, this program has been dominant.  We have destoyed everyone in our path, or at least made them sore on Sunday.  Now we have a shell of a team, with players either too confused or too indifferent about what it means to don the scrlet and cream.  Now I say, we are close to being on the right track.  TO is back.

I honestly believe that this will hurt for this year and maybe next.  I hope that we can pull it together and at least play hard, that is all that we can ask at this point.  Callahan has to be crapping a brick right about now.

I just hope we dont have to rename our van the Francione-mobile or somthing like that.  Gotta go, this is not my computer, I promise to post soon (I think the creepy guy behind the desk in this hotel likes me).... late.

Hey all, sorry I have waited to post, but I have been busy bidding on Ball State gear on Ebay, they are my new second favorite team.

WTF, right?  Well, this did not suprise me, and if you look at my previous posts this year, you will note that I called close games with Wake, and Ball.  I really did think though we would handle Ballin, but they were game and we obviously couldnt tie our own shoes.  Hence the onset of BOOOOING and Callahan bashing this week  I have been listening to all of you and now it is my turn to speak.

My mandatory 3 observations...........

1 - Booing.  Completely un-called for.  If you want to Boo your team at Memorial stadium, then take down the "greatest football fans" sign on the East entrance.  It is completely fine to be upset and call this unacceptable, but do not boo at your team, even if you are booing the coaches, those kids dont know that.  Did their performance warrant that?  Yes.  But the act is self-destructive.

2).  I have heard more crap about Frank Solich and how he would never let that happen....wholly crap.  I think many Nebraska fans are completely back in 1995.  TO is gone.  Tommie Frazier is gone.  If you do not want to back this staff that is fine, but please take off the blinders and put away the kool-aid. .  Ball State was bad, and it also shows a parallel to last year vs KU.  We let Adam Barmaid or somthing toss the rock around like flag football, but then came back to stop Texas, A&M, for the most part OU.  We can get better.  Unfortunately Callahan has exhibited the inability to fire up his team, the perceived NFL complacence of winning by 1 or 2, and the inability to effectively call the running game vs scheming opponents.  For those of you that despise the comments by Callahan, and how he gladhands the media, just remember what lost him his last job, by calling his team the "dumbest team in the NFL".  You dont think he is pissed off??????  Trust me he is, and becasue we are not ther we cant say nuthin.  That Irish man is letting people have it.  As for Cosgrove, I agree, if he cannot make a drastic improvement, we need to fire him, and if Bill won't, Peterson will.  Every publication in America called Nebraska's defense one of the top 3 LB corps in the country, how does that resonate now?  I hope for nothing more than a reversal in fortune, and thank goodness Iowa St comes here this weekend and not Okie State.

3 - I love Iowa State fans.  They are great.  They are courteous in defeat, but even more impressive, when they had beaten us a few times in the last 10 years, they were as respectful, and I will not forget that.  I welcome Cyclone fans to our tailgate any day, and I secretly drank another beer when they beat Iowa( like I needed a reason).  that being said, memo to the Cyclones, please stop losing to Northern Iowa.  By default, it makes the 1-AA Panthers the best team in your state (do the math).  This is really just a pride thing.  Gene Chizek is a good coach, but he is no Dan McCarney, and that is the worst thing that ever happened to Ia State athletics (unless you are counting that time when Julius Mickelik, Kenny Pratt and Fred Hoiberg lost a 3-on-3 game to Richard VanPolgeest, Stan Cloudy and Kelley Lively).  I vote we hire McCarney as our D-Coordinator, I guarentee you that our defense would bleed for him.

I am gonna doit (no stop it!), aww just do it..(no dont!)..you know you want to (nooooooooooo!!!!!)  oh well......

Well, fantastic, Ball State is here and the anticipation is equal to that of USC, or not.  Either way, NU and the BST Cardinal will square off on a PY-Per-View event Saturday at 11:30.  Pay per view is not cool, it seems like we are WWF or something.  Can Kurt Angle play linebacker?

All we know at this point is that Ball State beat Navy, they almost beat Michigan last year, i.e. Appalacian St.  They are in for a beatdown on Saturday and I am not sure what will come faster, the defense this week, or Bevo in the picture above.

Unfortunately, our D will look great this week, a week too late if you ask most of us, but either way, it can't come soon enough.

On to my mandatory 3 observations.............(lets get this over with)

1) Zack Bowan gave up his Blackshirt.....good move partner.  This is the only move even resembling leadership that this defense has exhibited.  Zack is right, he did not play his best game, but he looked like Lawrence Taylor compared to #13.  As stated above, we will be much better this week and I am sure of that.  Lets have some full contact drills or something............

2)  We need some fervor and killer instint.  I want foaming at the mouth, smashing clocks over our heads, crazy tatoos, exorbetant threats, and general disregard for others safety....on both sides of the ball.  We should be foaming at the mouth like Mike Tyson at a beauty pagent.  We need our Blackshirts back.

3) Ball state has a good QB.  He can run and throw and should be respected.  I dare us to get a sack, please.  Dont give up on thies team Husker fan, we can still have a nice season, this team can get better, how much so?  Remains to be seen, but dont be such haters, I hate Husker fan that is unrealistic and wants everyone fired after every loss, so stop it.  Maintain our pride (easy for me to say after posting a picture like that).......

Well, I dont have a ton to say, other than that was tough.  We were severely punished on the interior, badly confused at the linebacking position, and we did not get any good bounces.  That spells trouble and we got a dose of that SAT, congrats to USC as they played well.

I will say to those that are blaming Cosgrove, that our D-scheme is not the problem.  Our LB's, namely 13 and 51 took themselves out of nearly every play, and their technique was as bad as you can get.  USC was flat out shocked it could run like that.  It all boils down to a few things defensively, 1-we have no leader, and 2- we have no killer instinct, no junkyard dawg mentality.  That, as a Husker fan, pisses me off.  Give me 11 Brandon Rigoni's, we may lose but the other team would feel it in the morning..

Offensively we played fine.  Our O-Line is better than last years, but their D-line had 3 millionaires on it, hence, no Marlon.  Sam played great, and did not give up, which I love.  I think that we began to play better later in the game when it was already over, but at that point, you just hope that you get better, and we may have done that.

The season is not lost, but we need to win the big games remaining, and not trip vs Ball St i.e. Appalacian St. I cant really discuss this right now, as I am getting a headache, so I will discuss the tailgate.........

7 Kegs, are you kidding me.  I told some of the guys that the only people who order 7 kegs are caterers and social president of the fraternity.  We had a blast at our biggest tailgate ever, measured by the drink as mentioned, but also by the consumed 9 lbs of chicken, 5 gallons of chili, 30 bags of chips, 100+ dogs and brats, etc, etc, etc.  Great party, bad game, .......well one out of two aint bad.

No 3 observations this time, I will save it for later this week, but thanks to those who donated to the Callavan to keep her going.  If we try that party again, were gonna need it.  Later all, I am beat.......
